Theme for March:
What Does a Typical School Day Look Like In Your School?
Do you have multiple students being taught at one time and, if so, how do you accomplish this? How do your students occupy their time outside of "school" hours without having too much free time - or is there such a thing? How do you occupy preschool age children during school time? Do you have a schedule set in stone or do you fly by the seat of your pants?
Come and share your perspective on this theme - it just might be what someone else is looking for and it just might be what would "work" for them. If you are struggling in this area, come and listen to what others might have to say! This is where all you veteran homeschoolers are needed!! Be a mentor to less experienced homeschool moms.
If you have other issues that you need insight on, bring those topics with you and we'll cover those as time permits or carry them over to the next Mom's Night Out.
Date: Thursday, March 18, 2010
Time: 7:00-8:30 (The store will be open from 8:30-9:00 for late night shopping.)
Location: Hidden Treasures Homeschool Store, 5414 County Road 203, Dothan, AL 36301
Deadline to sign up: Tuesday, March 16, 2010, so I can provide adequate refreshments and seating
Dress: Casual
All homeschooling moms are welcome. Bring a friend, but please make sure they sign up.
Due to space limitations, please do not bring your children (after all, this is your night OUT!) Nursing babies, however, are always welcome.
(For those of you who have never been to the store - and maybe even for some who have - there is NO restroom in the building, so please make proper arrangements beforehand.) :-)
